Diverse Elders and the Older Americans Act
By: Diverse Elders

Diverse older adults may experience severe social isolation for many reasons: living in rural areas, limited English proficiency, fears around immigration and deportation, being disowned by families of origin, and/or discrimination. The Older Americans Act provides support to diverse elders by allowing them to remain independent and building strong communities. We cannot allow the budget for this critical aging programming to be slashed.
